Yes. Google does not charge to create or keep a profile. What you pay us for is the time to set it up properly, get it verified and keep it accurate.
Nobody can promise that, and Google’s rules stop anyone who manages profiles from claiming it. What we can do is make sure your profile is complete, accurate and in the right category, which is what Google says it looks at.
No. Google asks businesses that travel to their customers to hide the address. The profile shows the areas you cover instead: up to 20 of them, within about two hours’ drive of where you’re based.
The usual reasons are that the profile is not verified yet, it has been suspended, a recent edit is still being checked, or the business is new. Google says a new business can take up to a month to appear in results.
It is the same thing with a new name. Google renamed it Google Business Profile in 2021, and you now manage it straight from Google Search and Maps.
Ask, and make it easy. We give you a link and a QR code that open the review box directly. Ask every customer rather than only the ones you expect to be kind, and do not offer discounts or gifts in return. Google bans both.
Only Google can, and only when the review breaks its rules, for example spam or a review from someone who was never a customer. We can report those. For an honest bad review, a calm reply does more good than trying to hide it.
A profile gets you seen. A website is where people check your prices, your work and whether you suit them. Google closed the free one-page sites that used to come with profiles in 2024, and it counts links to your business when deciding how well known you are.
You do. Google requires that the business keeps ownership at all times. You remove us as a manager and everything stays exactly as it is.
