Three things. We host your site. We make the changes you ask for, such as hours, prices, photos and wording. And we watch the things that quietly take a site down: the domain renewal date, the security certificate and the enquiry form.
Less than you would with most sites. Ours have no WordPress or plugins to patch, so there is no monthly round of software updates. What still needs a person is keeping your details current and watching the renewals. If your details rarely change, you need very little.
Send us a message saying what you’d like changed. You don’t need to log in to anything or learn a system.
We reply within one business day to confirm the request and tell you when it will be done. How long the change itself takes depends on what it is and on what else is under way, so we give you a time for each one instead of a blanket promise.
Every version of your site is kept, so we put the previous one back first and fix the problem after. Changes are made on a copy before they go live, which is what stops most problems reaching your customers.
The site is yours. We hand over its files so you can host it elsewhere. Your domain, your email and your Google profile are already in your own name, so nothing else changes.
New work: extra pages, a new design, a booking system that wasn’t there before. We’ll tell you plainly when a request is new work, and you get a price in writing before we start.
Not directly. Google says a fast, well-kept page doesn’t guarantee a position. What care does is keep your details accurate, and wrong details cost you customers whatever your ranking.
