Yes. That is what Google Workspace is: the Gmail you already know, with your own address instead of one ending in gmail.com. It is a paid product, charged per person each month.
Yes. Google, Fastmail and the other main providers each have a tool that imports your existing messages and contacts. We also set your old address to forward to the new one, so nothing is missed while people learn the change.
Nothing, as long as your email is with a separate provider, which is how we set it up. Email only breaks when a mailbox lived on the old web host, or when the mail records were not copied across.
Providers charge per person. Extra names for the same person, such as hello@ or bookings@ arriving in one inbox, are usually included, but the detail depends on the provider and plan.
Less often, but nobody can honestly promise never. Gmail and Yahoo now require senders to authenticate their mail, and we set that up in full. What you send, and how often, still matters.
No, and we keep the two apart on purpose. Email with a dedicated provider is more reliable, and it means your inbox does not depend on your website.
It works. The cost is in how it looks and what you can do with it: it doesn’t carry your business name, anyone can register one that looks much the same, and you can’t give matching addresses to staff. We haven’t found a reliable Australian figure on how much it affects trust, so we won’t quote one.
Two parts. The provider’s fee per person each month, paid to them. And our setup, which you get a price for in writing after a short call.
